Mozambique: Lawyer tests positive for Covid-19, trial session suspended yesterday – Noticias report

A confirmed case of Covid-19 infection in one of the lawyers of the 19 co-defendants in the ‘hidden debts’ trial forced the court to suspend yesterday’s session, Noticias reports today.
News of the infection of the lawyer, whose identity was not revealed, became known in the middle of yesterday’s hearing, and the court decided to suspend activity for the day, Notícias has learned.
The immediate disinfection of the site was ordered, and all other lawyers and parties in the trial were recommended to take Covid-19 tests.

UM caso de infecção por Covid-19 num dos advogados dos 19 co-réus forçou o tribunal a suspender a sessão de ontem do julgamento do caso das dívidas não declaradas.
Segundo apurou o “Notícias”, e sem ser revelado o nome, a informação da infecção do referido causídico foi conhecida ao meio da audição de ontem, tendo o tribunal decido por suspender os trabalhos que estavam agendados para ontem. Como medida imediata, foi ordenada a desinfecção do local e recomendados aos demais advogados e outros intervenientes a tomarem cuidados sanitários adicionais, que passam por realização de testes de despiste.
