Mozambican university wants to learn from China's industrial policies

As part of its commitment to education development, Kenmare Resources, through its Kenmare Moma Development Association (KMAD) has awarded 100 scholarships to students from communities close to Kenmare’s Moma mine in Nampula province, Mozambique.
Since 2013, Kenmare has awarded more than 85 scholarships annually, supporting students both in Secondary School and at University.
The Kenmare Moma Development Association is a not-for-profit organisation that was established in 2004 to implement social development programmes in the Moma mine’s host communities.
The focus of KMAD’s work is framed by its four key strategic pillars: livelihoods and economic development, education, healthcare, and water and sanitation.
