Mozambique: Journalist Arlindo Chissale reportedly missing

Journalist Arlindo Chissale is reported to have “mysteriously” disappeared about three days ago. According to family members, Chissale was traveling from Pemba, in Cabo Delgado province, to the city of Nacala, in Nampula province.
Arlindo Chissale was the press attaché of the former mayor of Nacala, Raúl Novinte. After the split between Venâncio Mondlane and Renamo, Chissale and Novinte began supporting Mondlane until the present moment.
In journalistic circles, Chissale is reputed to have privileged contacts and information.
