Ghana warns of power cuts while Italy’s Eni works to boost gas supply

The government of Japan is to announce on Friday the financing of six Mozambican community projects valued at US$482,000 (€440,000), the Japanese embassy in Maputo announced in a statement.
The Japanese government is to finance the construction of two medical consultation offices in two districts of Gaza province (south), as well as the construction of the Rural Family Agrarian Institute, in the same region.
In the centre of the country, nine water holes will be built in Mocuba district, Zambezia province, and equipment will be installed in Beira Central Hospital, in Sofala province, which will also benefit a medium polytechnic institute under the same funding.
In Cabo Delgado Prefecture, Japan will fund the solar electrification project in the maternity ward and the Metoro Health Center laboratory, Ancuabe district.
The official ceremony of the donation will be attended by Japan’s business manager, Yasushiro Mitsui, members of World Vision in Mozambique, and other Mozambican entities.
