ICC has not intervened in Mozambique, says MISA

The Minister of the Interior, Arsénia Massingue, on Monday began a working visit to the province of Cabo Delgado to assess the level of implementation of the sector’s Economic and Social Plan.
Speaking to the journalist, Minister Massingue said that during her working visit, which will last about a week, she will work in the provincial command of the corporation, in the institutions subordinate to the Ministry of the Interior.
Arsénia Massingue will also travel to the districts of Palma and Mocímboa da Praia, where she will assess the need to replace infrastructure destroyed by terrorists.
Asked about her assessment of the course of voter registration, Massingue said that, with regard to the responsibilities assigned to the Ministry of the Interior, which are to guarantee security at the voter registration posts , there were no problems worth mentioning.
“Only a note on the need to further improve logistical conditions for our agents”, Minister Massingue concluded.
