Mozambique’s National Institute of Social Security (INSS) is suspending the normal functioning of its Social Security Information System of Mozambique (SISSMO) for 24 hours today.
According to the Directorate-General of the INSS, this is part of the improvement of the management processes carried out by the institution within the framework of the modernisation and computerisation, in order to improve the quality of services provided to both users and management.
Bearing in mind that the measure will affect users such as taxpayers and beneficiaries in Mozambique or residing abroad, to whom it apologises for the inconvenience, the INSS guarantees that the work will be carried out within the scheduled period, and without in any way disturbing data and information already in the system.
The INSS clarifies that the suspension will have no impact on any users with deadlines to regularise situations today either in terms of sanctions or prescription, which will be readjusted automatically.
In fact, the INSS has suspended sanctions for users in an irregular situation within the scope of Covid-19 mitigation measures.
