In July, technicians from the National Institute of Standardization and Quality (INNOQ) carried out inspections of the weight of bread and the accuracy of liquid fuel filling stations in the cities of Maputo and Matola.
During the operation, 102 hoses at 11 fuel filling stations were inspected. One hose was shut down due to a negative error outside the legal limit, which is a maximum of 0.5% of the volume supplied.
Regarding the inspection of bread weight, the operation covered six sales establishments, where 497 samples of different weights were inspected, including bread units of 200g, 160g, 145g, 80g and 1000g. Of the 497 samples inspected, 32 were rejected.
INNOQ inspection teams will remain on the ground until December.
