MozParks Holding and the Provincial Government of Inhambane have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch Inhambane Parks, an ambitious initiative to drive economic growth, attract investment, and create jobs through the development of industrial parks in the province.
Under the agreement, MozParks will develop two industrial parks, one located in Inhassoro and the other in Jangamo. This strategic partnership is designed to create the infrastructure and business environment necessary for local economic transformation. By supporting the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises, Inhambane Parks will generate sustainable employment opportunities, particularly for young people, while enhancing the province’s competitiveness as an investment destination.
Francisco Pagula, Governor of Inhambane province, highlighted the significance of the initiative:
“This agreement marks a decisive step towards the industrialization of our province. These parks will serve as a platform for business integration, creating opportunities for our youth and unlocking the economic potential of Inhambane.”
MozParks CEO, Onório Manuel, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to the project:
“Inhambane Parks is more than infrastructure. It’s a catalyst for inclusive growth. Together with the Provincial Government, we will deliver facilities and services that enable businesses to thrive and communities to prosper.”
With the launch of Inhambane Parks, MozParks continues its mission to develop Sustainable Economic Zones across Mozambique, contributing to national industrialization, job creation, and economic diversification.
