Businesspeople from Portuguese-speaking African countries (PALOPs) will participate in the third edition of the PALOP Economic Forum in the city of Inhambane from Wednesday.
Entrepreneurs from Angola, Guinea-Bissau, Cape Verde and São Tomé will exchange experiences with the national business community and explore investment opportunities in the province of Inhambane and beyond.
In addition to PALOP businesspeople, the attendance of guests from Portugal, Spain and South Africa is also confirmed.
The President of the Municipal Council of the City of Inhambane, Benedito Guimino, said that organisational aspects had been improved to ensure the success of the event.
Guimino said he believed that the coming together of businessmen from the PALOP’s and from Inhambane, and Mozambique in general, was sure to deliver results.
The III Edition of the Post-Independence Economic Justice Forum for Portuguese-Speaking Countries (PALOP), 2023, is scheduled for the 28th, 29th and 30th of July. The previous edition was held in Lisbon, Portugal, hosted by the Casa de Moçambique and União das Cidades Capitais de Língua Portuguesa (UCCLA).
