Mozambique: Health Ministry hopes to vaccinate 18 million children against polio
The Southern African Chief Justices’ Forum (SACJF) is holding its annual conference this Monday and Tuesday at the Joaquim Chissano International Conference Centre in Maputo.
The heads of the Supreme Courts of Justice of Southern Africa are meeting under the theme “Judicial Accountability and the Role of the Judiciary in the Fight Against Terrorism”.
Topics such as the implementation of electronic process management systems, the financing of terrorism and related crimes and the concept of judicial responsibility and independence will also be debated at the meeting.
The SACJF provides a formal structure through which the chief justices of Eastern and Southern Africa and Africa generally can collectively reflect on critical issues of justice delivery, and adopt action plans to address those issues in a systematic and sustained way, strengthening justice delivery in the region.
