Mozambique: Govt steps up regularization of informal passenger transporters in Greater Maputo

The government is accelerating the regularization of informal passenger transporters in the Greater Maputo region, Radio Mozambique reports.
This is one of the conditions for ‘chapa’ operators gaining access to subsidies in the face of rising fuel prices.
Government spokesman Ambrósio Sitoe said that no carriers would be excluded from the process.
