Mozambique: Government will renew contract with Fly Modern Ark – Minister

The Minister of Transport and Communications, Mateus Magala, announced this Thursday that the government would renew the Fly Modern Ark contract to continue stabilising flag carrier, Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique (LAM).
Magala also said that the dismissal of LAM’s former general director was aimed at bringing new dynamism to the company.
The Minister of Transport and Communications says that the objective of stabilising LAM continues, so “we must continue to seek knowledge”.
As long as it is doing its job well, Magala said, there was no reason why Fly Modern Ark should not continue interventions to recover the flag-carrier airline.
