Mozambique government pledges continuing support for PRM’s peace keeping efforts

Speaking in his capacity as Commander in Chief of the Defence and Security Forces, President Filipe Nyusi said yon Sunday that the government would continue to support the Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM) in its peace keeping work .

President Nyusi was speaking in Maputo after receiving the felicitations of the PRM’s senior ranks as part of the PRM’s 41st anniversary celebrations.

Speaking at the same occasion, PRM General Commander Júlio Jane assured the president that the corporation would continue to devote its every effort to combating crime and maintaining order and tranquillity.
