The situation concerning the new coronavirus was analysed by the Council of Ministers in Maputo this Tuesday, and deemed to require the continuing observance of all appropriate preventative measures.
Other matters considered by the Cabinet in its 30th ordinary session included the status of cooperation partners’ commitments, fiscal impacts on revenue collection and the Covid-19 response plan, particularly as to the implementation of preventative measures.
The Council of Ministers also yesterday approved the regulation for the licensing of infrastructure and oil operations in the country, and approved a proposal for legislative authorisation to amend the civil code, intended to be submitted to the Assembly of the Republic for approval.
A decree adjusting the organisation and functioning of inclusive education resource centres was likewise approved, and, finally, the Idai and Kenneth post-cyclone reconstruction programme was assessed.
