The Council of Ministers approved this Tuesday (11) several decrees that redefine and operationalize Law no. 5/2022, of 14 February, which approves the Single Salary Table (TSU), with the changes introduced by Law No. 14/2022, of 10 October.
The approval of the decrees comes a day after the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, promulgated and ordered the publication of the aforementioned law, after it was approved by the Assembly of the Republic.
This is the Decree amending Decree no. of Justice at TSU, as well as the Decree amending Decree No. 32/2022, of 13 July, which defines the regime and the amounts of TSU salary levels and steps.
Meeting at the 35th Ordinary Session, the Executive led by Filipe Nyusi also approved legal provisions that operationalize the TSU law.
Of note are the decree defining the framework criteria, the regime and the amounts of the supplements and the amounts of salary levels and grades of the Armed Forces for the Defence of Mozambique; that defining the criteria framing the regime and the amounts of supplements and quantitative salary levels and grades of members of the Police of the Republic of Mozambique and equivalent paramilitary entities.
The Government also approved the decree that sets the remuneration of other public and sovereign bodies and the decree that defines the framework of the functions of management, leadership and trust of the state apparatus in the salary levels of the TSU.
At the meeting, the Council of Ministers also analysed the balance of the 2021-2022 agrarian campaign and the Fisheries Management Plan in the Cahora-Bassa Reservoir 2023-2027, as well as the 8th Edition of the FIKANI International Fair, to be held from 13 on October 15th at the Joaquim Chissano International Conference Centre.
