The Council of Ministers on Tuesday approved amendments to the Decree creating a visa for visitors to Mozambique involved in humanitarian assistance.
The visa is granted to foreign citizens who come to the country at the invitation of government authorities and international and non-governmental organisations in order to carry out not-for-profit humanitarian work.
Also in yesterday’s session, the government appreciated information on emergency situations arising from the 2021/2022 rainy/cyclonic season and ongoing actions in response to needs resulting from the weather.
In light of the situation of Public Calamity still persisting, the balance and prospects for the application of measures to contain the spread of Covid-19 were also considered, a press release received in the Radio Mozambique newsroom indicates.
