Mozambique: Gondola appointed Secretary of State for Technical and Vocational Education

The President of the Republic, Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, by the powers conferred upon him by paragraph d) of number 2 of article 159 of the Constitution of the Republic, appointed, by Presidential Dispatch, Mety Oreste Gondola to the position of Secretary of State for Technical-Professional Education, the Presidency has announced.
Gondola succeeds Agostinho Francisco Langa Júnior, who left the position vacant on March 14 when he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ports and Railways of Mozambique (CFM).
Mety Gondola served as Secretary of State for Nampula province from January 2020 to January of this year. He was formerly Secretary General of the Frelimo party youth league, the Mozambican Youth Organization (OJM), from November 2015 to January 2020.
