Mozambique: Fuel ship arrives in Cabo Delgado today

The provincial government of Cabo Delgado is expecting the arrival today of an oil tanker at the Port of Pemba to refuel in order to resolve the shortage that has affected that part of the country since last week.
The announcement was made this morning by the governor of Cabo Delgado province, Valige Tauabo, speaking to Radio Mozambique.
According to the source, the diesel and gasoline, which arrive today, will ensure that the demand is met in the next six days, “because after that we will also have the routine, normal acquisition, through another ship and then we will have stability”, he said.
The fuel shortage in Cabo Delgado is the result of a cut on National Road Number 1 (EN1), due to the passage of tropical cyclone Jude.
