Mozambique: Frelimo congratulates President Nyusi on his birthday

Frelimo Political Commission, the Secretariat of the Central Committee and members and supporters of the Frelimo party have addressed a special message of greetings and congratulations to the President of Frelimo and of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, on his 64th birthday today (09-02).

“At this time of celebration, Frelimo takes the opportunity to pay tribute to President Filipe Nyusi, for his undeniable personal commitment to Mozambique, which he has demonstrated over time. In this special moment of celebration on the occasion of its birthday, the Political Commission of Frelimo, the Secretariat of the Central Committee, the members and supporters of Frelimo wish you good health, long life and much prosperity,” reads a Frelimo Party communiqué seen by Radio Mozambique.

Secretary General of Frelimo Roque Silva in a congratulatory message says that the President of the Republic has led the country wisely, despite the adversities, and that Filipe Nyusi’s efforts in the search and maintenance of peace will echo down the generations.

The National Liberation Struggle Combatants Association (ACLLIN) also congratulated Filipe Nyusi on his birthday, saluting the commitment of the President of the Republic to restoring security in the north of Cabo Delgado province.

ACLLIN also highlights the commitment of the Head of State in taking measures to mitigate the effects of climate change.
