The Minister of Industry and Commerce of Mozambique Silvino Moreno presided over the opening of the France-Mozambique Business Forum in Maputo, today.
The Mozambique-France Business Forum is taking place today and tomorrow in Maputo, bringing together businessmen from both countries who are looking for investment opportunities.
The event, organised by the French Embassy in Mozambique in partnership with the Confederation of Economic Associations (CTA) and the France-Mozambique Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFM), will bring together more than 260 businesspeople from both countries, with the French mostly coming from the Indian Ocean islands Réunion and Mayotte.
According to the French ambassador in Maputo, Yann Pradeau, the business forum will address investment possibilities in key sectors of the Mozambican economy, including energy and mineral resources.
