Mozambique: Rioting returns to Maputo tollgate - AIM report

The Public Prosecutor’s Office says it has concluded the investigation of the process related to the complaint filed by relatives of Momade Assif Satar, better known as Nini Satar, about an alleged plan to assassinate him for the sum of 40 million meticais.
In a statement received in our newsroom, the Public Prosecutor’s Office (PGR) asserts that the investigation has culminated in the indictment of five of the six suspected of committing the crimes of carrying prohibited weapons and criminal association.
According to the same note, the case will be referred to the Court of Maputo Province for subsequent proceedings.
Of those indicted, two are members of the PRM and the other three are inmates of penal establishments.
Investigations into the sixth individual, whereabouts still unknown, are yet to be completed.
