Post-electoral: Eight thousand mineworkers cancel visits to Mozambique fearing violent protests

The President of Mozambique and Acting Chairman of the Southern African Development Community (SADC), Filipe Nyusi, will carry out, tomorrow Saturday, a working visit of 24 hours to the Republic of Zimbabwe, in response to an invitation by his counterpart Emmerson Mnangagwa.
A statement from the Presidency of the Republic indicates that “the visit of the Head of State to that country falls within the scope of regular consultations in the capacity of current SADC chairperson, as well as in the strengthening, deepening and strengthening of the bilateral relations” existing between the two countries.
