More than 6,000 visitors, tourist and cultural service providers, travel agents and accommodation and catering establishments, as well as public and private institutions, are also expected for this, the 9th edition of FIKANI, which takes place at the Mozambique-China Cultural Centre.
The information was provided on Radio Mozambique’s Café da Manhã programme on Tuesday by the National Tourism Institute’s Director of Investments and Development, Nuno Fortes.
Fortes said that government measures to boost the tourism sector were reflected in the increasing number of countries participating in the FIKANI fair.
The FIKANI fair is a government platform which promotes meetings of businessmen in the hospitality, tourism and culture sector, with the aim of publicizing investment, business and leisure opportunities.
The ninth edition of the International Tourism Fair will take place from November 30 to December 3 under the motto “FIKANI – For Sustainable Tourism”.
