Mozambique: FDS discover mass grave in Mocimboa da Praia – Notícias de Defesa

In yet another combative patrol, the Defence and Security Forces identified a mass grave where the terrorists killed in Mocímboa da Praia, in March 2020, were buried in unidentified numbers, ‘Notícias de Defesa’ reports today.
The Ministry of Defence has clarified that this website is not theirs. Their spokesperson told me he has no knowledge of it or the incident reported here (and by us).

Last Sunday, June 21, during the combative patrol, the Defence and Security Forces attacked and killed six terrorists along the EN380, from Miangueleua to Auasse and from Auasse to Mocímboa da Praia. During the attack, the Defence and Security Forces were also able to recover weapons, including firearms, ammunition carriers, as well as medicines.

The ongoing operations are aimed at attacking, assaulting and dismantling the Siri Base, known as one of the main terrorist bases. Very recently, the FDS also launched twice attacks on Siri or Siria, having at the time killed important leaders of the terrorists.
FDS descobrem vala comum dos terroristas
Em mais uma patrulha combativa, as Forças da Defesa e Segurança identificaram uma vala comum onde foram enterrados, em número não identificado, os terroristas abatidos a quando do ataque dos mesmos em Mocímboa da Praia, em março de 2020.
No domingo passado, 21 de Junho, durante a patrulha combativa, as Forças da Defesa e Segurança atacaram e mataram seis terroristas ao longo da EN380, de Miangueleua a Auasse e de Auasse a Mocímboa da Praia. Durante o ataque, as Forças de Defesa e Segurança conseguiram recuperar também material bélico, incluindo arma de fogo, carregador de munições bem como medicamentos.
As operações em curso visam atacar, assaltar e desmantelar derradeiramente a Base Siri, conhecida como sendo das principais bases de terroristas. Muito recentemente, as FDS também lançaram por duas vezes ataques sobre Siri ou Siria, tendo na ocasião logrado a morte de importantes cabecilhas dos terroristas.
