Four members of the same family were murdered on Saturday night at a school on the outskirts of Maputo, a source from the National Criminal Investigation Service (Sernic) told Lusa today.
The father, mother and two children were murdered by strangers “using blunt instruments”, Sernic spokesman in Maputo province Elino Panguana revealed.
Panguana said the family lived at the school in Tchumene, Matola municipality, where the father worked as a security guard.
The suspects “took a printer” from the school, but the police still have no clue as to “the real reasons for this murder”, Panguana said.
“The criminal investigation service is trying to find out what happened,” he concluded.
