Mozambique Elections: What is the polling day weather forecast?

The National Institute of Meteorology (INAM) is forecasting good weather for almost the entire country on 9 October. However, there is a slight chance of showers in the provinces of Maputo, Gaza and Inhambane in the south, and in the provinces of Cabo Delgado and Niassa in the north.
Maximum temperatures in the provinces of Maputo, Gaza, Inhambane and Sofala are expected to range from 28 to 30ºC.
In the provinces of Tete, Zambézia, Nampula and Cabo Delgado maximum temperatures are expected to range from 28 to 30ºC.
INAM continues to monitor the weather. The population is therefore urged to continue following the meteorological information and warnings issued by the competent national authorities.
