Mozambique Elections: Venâncio Mondlane calls on protesters to return home – Watch

Presidential candidate Venâncio Mondlane has called, this Monday morning (21-10), on protesters to end their march and return home. Mondlane says that today’s goal has been achieved and that more actions may be announced in the coming days.

Presidential candidate Venâncio Mondlane arrived on the site where he had announced the start of the strike one hour after the scheduled time today, claiming that the delay arose because his home was surrounded by agents of the Defence and Security Forces.

Speaking to the various media outlets present on the site, Mondlane once again condemned the police action, which, according to him, was patently biased.
