There is a turbulent environment in the town of Alto Molocue, Diário da Zambézia reports on its Facebook page.
The population claims Renamo victory in an election that was supposedly manipulated by the District Electoral Commission in favour of Frelimo, adds the same source.
The main street that gives access to the local administration is blocked with barricades. Police are firing tear gas to disperse the crowd.
Diário da Zambezia recalls that, in Alto Molocue, Renamo declared itself the winner based on the ‘editais’ that it has [electoral results issued and posted by the polling stations].
