The Attorney General’s Office has summoned presidential candidate Venâncio Mondlane for public disobedience, disrespect for state bodies, incitement to violence and disinformation.
The summons issued by the body responsible for ensuring legality is based on the fact that Venâncio Mondlane disclosed “information about the election results not confirmed by the competent bodies, declared himself President of the Republic and announced the creation of a transitional commission of power.”
