The president of the Democratic Movement of Mozambique (MDM), Lutero Simango, says he is unaware of any voting process in the National Elections Commission aimed at excluding the CAD from the legislative and provincial elections.
Simango also says that the MDM did not participate in the decision, given that no internal voting occurred, and that the MDM member at the CNE would not be sanctioned.
Despite having representation in the National Elections Commission, the Democratic Movement of Mozambique says it does not agree with the current functioning of the electoral body, including the decisions taken in recent days.
Lutero Simango spoke yesterday at the headquarters of the Medical Association of Mozambique, where he held a meeting with representatives of the profession.
Simango said that the MDM welcomed any contributions that would enrich his party’s manifesto.
The Mozambican Medical Association says it has already three of the four presidential candidates, and that there is a need to contribute to paradigm shifts in the currently problematic sector.
After the MDM, the Medical Association will this Friday have a meeting with Renamo.
