Mozambique: One dead and 18 injured in accident involving football team

The verdict and sentencing in the case of embezzlement at the Ministry of Labour’s Directorate of Migratory Labour (DTM) is scheduled for Thursday. July 28, the date initially projected by judge Evandra Uamusse, of the 10th Criminal Section of the Judicial Court of the City of Maputo.
The case has to do with the alleged diversion from state coffers, between 2010 and 2014, of 113 million meticais comprising social security contributions paid by Mozambican miners in South Africa and fees charged for hiring foreign labour.
