Mozambique: Deputy Minister to also serve as Secretary of State for Tete province, overlapping duties

The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, this Tuesday appointed, through a Presidential Order, Rolinho Manuel Farnela to the post of Secretary of State for the province of Tete, in conjunction with his functions as Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Security.
In separate orders, the head of state dismissed Elisa Zacarias from the post of Secretary of State for the province of Tete, Ludovina Bernardo from the post of Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce and Amélia Muendane from the post of President of the Tax Authority of Mozambique (AT).
Yesterday, the Council of Ministers appointed Ludovina Bernardo to the position of Chair of the Board of Directors of the National Hydrocarbons Company (ENH) to replace Estêvão Pale, and Amélia Muendane to the position of Chair of the Board of Directors of the company Aeroportos de Moçambique (AdM).
Also in the cabinet session on Tuesday, the government appointed Elisa Zacarias to the position of Chair of the Tax Authority.
