Mozambique deficit to rise in amended budget

Mozambique’s Finance Minister Adriano Maleiane presented an amended 2016 budget in parliament on Monday, showing a higher deficit of 11.3 percent of GDP from a previous 10.2 percent due to increased borrowing and a weaker currency.
