Mozambique: President arrives in Nampula for working visit

The Minister of National Defence, Atanásio Salvador Mtumuke, is visiting the Russian Federation from today to the 8th of this month, and will take part in the 7th Moscow Conference on International Security from 4 to 5 April.
The Ministry of Defence in the Russian Federation will be organising its 7th annual conference on International Security. The conference will be held in Moscow on April 4th and 5th. As per the official website of the conference, the main focus of the conference will be on issues in Syria, combating ISIS and post-conflict rehabilitation in West Asia. “Security issues facing Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America will also be in the spotlight of the forum. Special session will address “Soft power” phenomenon as a tool to pursue military-political objectives”.
The Mozambican Minister of Defence’s working visit will provide an opportunity to strengthen relations between the two countries, with various agreements and MoUs between the parties expected to be signed during his stay.
