Mozambique: Former police chief questioned for eight hours, no charges

The Minister of National Defence, Cristóvão Chume, is paying a working visit to Tete province starting this Thursday (13-07), to update himself regarding the level of combat readiness of the Mozambican Armed Forces for Defence (FADM) stationed there.
During his stay in Tete province, Minister Chume will maintain routine contacts with the productive units of the Mozambican Civic Service, and visit the Songo Economic Protection Battalion.
Also while in the province, Chume will visit Chingondzi Vocational Training Centre and the Tsangano and Angónia production units.
