Mozambique: Defence Minister inaugurates new members of staff – Photos

Mozambique’s Minister of National Defence, Cristóvão Chume, inaugurated new occupants for the positions of Legal Advisor to the Minister, Chief of Staff to the Minister and Clinical Director of the Nampula Military Hospital in Maputo on Monday.
Captain Inocência Banze was sworn into office as Legal Advisor to the Minister; Colonel Paulo Gabriel as Chief of Staff to the Minister of Defence and Lieutenant-Medical Gilnério Muchave as Director of the Nampula Military Hospital.
On the occasion, the head of the national defence portfolio urged those inaugurated to ensure that they carried out the tasks assigned to them with alacrity and selflessness.
“We recognise your potential and hope that you will make it available for the proper functioning of the organic units where you will perform your duties,” Minister Chume remarked.
He also urged those inaugurated to capitalise on teamwork and that individual success should not be prioritised over that of the collective.
