Mozambique declares curfew in provincial capitals and Greater Maputo from 22h to 4h; previous Covid measures extended – Watch

President Filipe Nyusi this Monday announced that the curfew in the metropolitan area of greater Maputo will be extended to all provincial capitals of the country. However, the curfew timing has changed: it will be from 10 pm to 4 am, .
The President said that the government has decided to maintain all the other Covid-19 prevention measures currently in force for a further 21 days.
The government’s decree is to take effect from tomorrow, Tuesday.
