Mozambique: Dead whale found in Marracuene district

A whale has been found lifeless in the Nandza area of Machubo, Marracuene district.
The district government indicates that the whale, weighing more than a ton, was found on the beach, already dead.
Local authorities are concerned about the appearance of this and other dead marine animals on the beaches there, and do not yet know the cause of the mammals’ demise.
