The Ambassador of Namibia to Mozambique and Zimbabwe has paid a courtesy visit to the Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique (CTA).
Ambassador Niklaas Kandjii expressed Namibia’s interest in strengthening trade relations and promoting exchanges between business-people from both countries, highlighting the fisheries sector as one with potential for cooperation.
The diplomat raised the possibility of holding a joint Mozambique-Namibia business fair, and expressed his willingness to mobilize Namibian investors to tap business opportunities in Mozambique.
The chairman of the CTA showed interest in cooperating with the new ambassador in promoting business exchanges. He made a brief presentation of CASP, its components and the advantages of participating in this event, the largest public-private dialogue and business discussion platform in Mozambique.
The parties also raised the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding aimed at sharing information about events and business opportunities.
