Mozambique: Cotur wins TAP Award as the best travel agency in Africa in 2024

Mozambican travel agency, Cotur, has won the TAP Award for posting the most growth on the African continent in 2024.
After being rated the 37th largest company in Mozambique by KPMG and the largest in the service sector, Cotur won the TAP Air Portugal 2024 award for the company with the highest growth in the entire African continent.
“This is an international award that recognizes the best and greatest on our African continent. It is a source of pride and an honor to be able to raise the pride of Mozambique. We continue to work harder, with more dedication and effort to capitalize on these promotions and continue to put our country in the world spotlight,” said Muhammad Abdullah, CEO of the Cotur travel agency.
By winning the award for 2024, Cotur repeats its feat of 2023 and is currently working to elevate its brand with international certifications.
“This is a result of the work that has been done and the vision of the administration, which involves modernizing in order to keep up with international dynamics. Very soon we will have our ISO certificate and very soon we will be certified at the highest level,” reads a Cotur statement.
The recent award took place on 22 May during the TAP Awards 2025, a ceremony that also recognised the travel agents who contributed most to the Portuguese airline’s sales in 2024.
