Mozambique continues to support the Palestinian cause

The President of the Assembly of the Republic, Margarida Talapa, held a meeting with Palestinian ambassador to Mozambique, Fayed Abdul Jawal, in Maputo on Tuesday.
Speaking to journalists after the meeting, Fayed Abdul Jawal revealed that he was the bearer of a congratulatory message from President of the Palestinian National Council, Mahmoud Abbas, to his Mozambican counterpart, Daniel Chapo, on his election as President of the Republic.
The Palestinian ambassador to Mozambique also conveyed greetings and congratulations from Palestine to parliamentary speaker Margrida Talapa on her election to the position.
Fayed Abdul Jawal said that the meeting also served to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Mozambique and Palestine.
