Mozambique: Consulate in Johannesburg sends team to KwaZulu-Natal over attacks

A team from the Consulate General of Mozambique in Johannesburg, South Africa, travelled to KwaZulu-Natal province on Monday to assess the situation regarding attacks on vehicles with Mozambican number plates, Radio Mozambique reports.
The deployment responds to a spate of armed robbery and arson attacks on Mozambicans by as-yet unidentified individuals, with goods stolen and vehicles set on fire.
After meetings with the South African Police and Kwazulu Natal authorities, the Mozambican team said its preliminary conclusion was that the attacks were coordinated by organised gangs.
