Prices for almost all fuels will fall from tomorrow, the National Fuels Directorate has announced today.
Diesel prices fall from the current 64.55 meticais per litre to 63.51 meticais and gasoline from 67.07 meticais per litre to 66.49 meticais. Lighting oil falls from the current 49.08 meticais per litre to 48.44 meticais and cooking gas (LPG) from the current 63.26 meticais per kilogram to 61.23 meticais.
Only the price of compressed natural gas (CNG) remains unchanged, at 30.35 meticais per litre equivalent.
The National Directorate of Hydrocarbons and Fuels explains that the international fuel market environment and the stability of the exchange rate in Mozambique has contributed to the widespread fall in fuel prices.
