The President of the Republic, Daniel Chapo, appointed, through a Presidential Order, Leonilda Adelino António Sanveca Muatiacale, to the post of Vice-Rector of the Pedagogical University of Maputo.
This act is part of the recognition of the value of national higher education and technical, academic and institutional suitability.
Also yesterday, Daniel Chapo appointed to the posts of Advisor to the President of the Republic the following eight citizens:Johane Francisco Chibaio Zonjo, Hugo Jorge Martins Acácio, Áuria Vaneza Duarte Sofiano Calú, Sérgio Victorino Padeiro, Claudina Maria de São José Mazalo, Ester Lara Jorge Cossa, Décio Bonga Estevão Machava and Momade Hanifo Hassanigy Momade.
According to the presidency statement, the newly appointed advisors have extensive professional experience.
Also according to the statement, this choice expresses the President’s commitment to meritocracy, favouring career specialists with training and experience forged over the years in various areas of knowledge.
In addition, the advisors reinforce the State’s capacity to face crucial current challenges, such as the fight against organized crime, corruption, money laundering and terrorism, contributing to the stability and sustainable development of the country.
The nominees take office at the Presidency of the Republic today.
