Mozambique’s cabinet has authorized consulting firm Alvarez & Marsal to assist with the country’s “public debt restructuring plan”, according to a government bulletin.
The bulletin said the firm was also cleared to support its work on the 2026-2029 public debt strategy.
A spokesperson for Alvarez & Marsal declined to comment.
