The approximately eighty Mozambican entrepreneurs from the agro-industry, energy, tourism, transportation, and finance sectors, who conducted a mission to Portugal with the aim of seeking partnerships, achieved encouraging results that herald the development of businesses in the near future.
The mission is part of the visit that the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, has been making to Portugal since yesterday at the invitation of his counterpart, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, to, among other activities, participate in the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the April Revolution, whose ceremonies take place today.
Meanwhile, as an example, the president of the Confederation of Economic Associations (CTA), Agostinho Vuma, mentioned that the Magude District Government is discussing the establishment of a partnership with a company from Porto, engaged in meat production and leather processing, thanks to the contacts made during the mission that ended yesterday. Speaking at the Portugal-Mozambique Business Forum, Vuma indicated that there is interest from companies in the Santa Maria da Feira region, also in Porto, in internationalizing.
