Beluluane Industrial Park hosted a health fair last week in collaboration with the Provincial Health Service as part of the Novembro Azul awareness campaign. The event welcomed over 150 workers from 15 companies within the park and focused on promoting health and well-being through comprehensive screenings, educational sessions, and wellness activities.
The health fair offered a wide range of services, including early detection screenings for diabetes, prostate cancer, and hypertension, as well as consultations on maternal and child health, mental health, and workplace wellness. Participants also benefited from sessions on nutrition, physiotherapy, malaria prevention, and HIV testing. Aerobic exercises and a blood donation drive further highlighted the event’s commitment to holistic health.
Local content solutions in action
MozParks is deeply invested in supporting local content solutions that directly benefit the communities we serve. By bringing together 15 companies from Beluluane Park and healthcare providers, this event ensured workers had access to critical health services, giving them tools for better well-being. This event also demonstrated the power of collaboration, with participation from numerous companies in the park and beyond.
“At MozParks, we view initiatives like these as integral to our mission of creating a thriving, sustainable ecosystem that supports both industry and the community. We thank all participating companies and the Provincial Health Service for their contributions to this impactful event.” – said Onorio Manuel, General Director of MozParks.
