Mozambique: Tax authorities speed up collection of tax debts and made almost 250 seizures in 2024

Beira port has closed this Thursday morning ,”considering weather forecasts that indicate the probability of Cyclone Freddy affecting the city of Beira from February 23rd 2023.” Cornelder de Moçambique has announced in a communique issued on Wednesday, 22nd February.
“Subject to the weather conditions improving,” the port of Beira should reopen its gates and restart operations on Friday (February 24th) at 7 p.m. , reads the Cornelder comunique.
“We appeal to our customers who may have trucks that are on route to the port of Beira to stay in safer places until the weather conditions improve,” it concludes.
