Reactions:
Abel Xavier (Head Coach, Mozambique)
I am extremely proud of how my players are growing. For the first time, we managed to score and dominate the game. The merit belongs to the players for delivering such a good performance.
The integration of the new players, and they really showed that they really want to represent the national team.
Ratifo understood and interpreted well the way we play, and the team behaviour too. I am happy for him, and I believe he will be important for the team.
Beto Bianchi (Head Coach, Angola)
I’m not happy at all because nobody likes defeat. We tried to play our style. However, I am pleased and proud of my players for their display in the game.
We made some mistakes that cost us the two goals. After working together for few weeks, there are signs of good prospects for this team. The players are assimilating the strategies and I hope we will improve match after match. Against South Africa on Tuesday, I’m looking forward to some good things in terms of performance of the team.
