The Commercial and Investment Bank (BCI) and the Mozambican Football Federation (FMF) this Thursday (11-01) renewed their national football sponsorship agreement.
The protocol ensures BCI’s continuing support for the development of the federation’s activities for 2024-2025, essentially focused on the promotion, organisation, regulation and control of the practice of football.
In this very special year, in which Mozambique marks the return to the biggest celebration of African football (AFCAN), which starts this weekend, BCI administrator Luís Aguiar said that “it is a great pride that we can have the possibility of continuing to support. And the right word here at this point is commitment”.
“In fact we have made a long-term commitment,” he continued, “and we are very comfortable and pleased to have this possibility of supporting Mozambican sport at its highest level.”
For the president of the FMF, “the most important thing is that the BCI, once again, extends its arms in view of this concern that the federation has. We thank BCI for opening a window to meet this national commitment. This is truly another joyful moment for us”.
BCI Directors Luís Aguiar and George Mandawa and President of the FMF Feizal Sidat signed the agreement at an event in the BCI headquarters attended by members of the governing bodies and employees of the two institutions.
